Local shares close lower
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closed 0.12 percent lower at 3,097.23 on Friday, dragging 56 declines and only 37 advances.
While All Shares rose 0.0504 percent, Financials, Industrial, Services, and Mining and Oil dropped relatively although Holding Firms and Property tallied high at market end.

Local shares closed lower today at -.4717 with a value of 1,886.48. The PSE dropped to -.7567 at end of trading that saw 57 gainers as against the 54 losers and 55 unchanged.

Local shares up a day after GMA’s SONA
Local share prices closed 1.32 percent higher in today’s trading, a day after President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo delivered her state of the nation address.
All shares recorded 1.34 percent up with industrial stocks soaring 6.73 percent on Tuesday followed by services with .84 percent up.
Philippine shares close lower
Local share prices closed 0.154 percent lower on Monday as weakness in the US market deterred local investors, dealers said.
